Booking: We will book your hunt as far as one year in advance with a deposit. Call for open
dates and seasons.
Hog Hunt Pricing:
Trophy Hunts are $350.00. This is any hog with tusks from one inch to 2.5 inches long. Super Trophy Hunts are $450.00. This is any hog with over 2.5 inches of tusks. *Note: All tusks are measured from the gum-line along the outside curve of the tooth. On occasion we will have "meat hog" hunts available (small, young hogs weighing under 150 lbs. that we allow to be taken). This depends on the season and population. We offer these hunts at reduced rates and at guide's discretion.
Silver Rams and Goats are $750.00. Gold Rams and Goats are $1250.00. *Note: All Rams and Goats are scored based on total scoring according to TRE guidelines. Unlike many other outfitters that call a "Full Curl" Ram any animal whose horn curls to the eye, we classify a "Full Curl" as one complete curve past the eye with a "flare" away from the face. Included in the price of hunts are cleaning and quartering. We can recommend an excellent taxidermist that specializes in hogs and exotics if you desire. If you have your own, we will cape your mount to his specifications. In the event that a hunter wounds an animal, every effort will be made to recover it. After the tracking, if it is not found, a $150.00 fee will be charged. This charge was initiated to discourage the taking of marginal shots due to our "no kill, no pay" policy. Since we started this policy, we have never had to charge this fee. Equipment: Hunters should bring their personal hunter safety belts, flashlights, insect repellant, appropriate camo clothing, video camera (if desired), and at least two coolers. Firearms should be of deer hunting calibers. Hogs are tough and difficult to put down so no .22 calibers, buckshot, or expanding broadheads allowed.Licenses: No license is required to hunt hogs on private land in Louisiana. They can be hunted year round at the owner's discretion.
